Role Summary: 

Our National Distribution Branch in Mississauga is currently looking for a Storekeeper to join our team and secure distribution and life safety product sales via our sales counter. This is an existing vacancy.

 

Key Job Responsibilities: 

  • Drive commercial counter sales distribution and Fire alarm parts
  • Develop customer relationships as required
  • Stay current in knowledge of life safety products and features
  • Transacting all inventory requirements
  • Maintain warehouse stock/inventory levels to keep up with customer demand
  • Assume additional warehouse tasks (i.e. inventory management, shipping/receiving, pick and pack, etc.)
  • Complete credit checks of customers to ensure they are in good standing
  • Create workorders and prepare to invoice once parts are picked up and or shipped
  • Ensure counter area is kept clean and tidy
  • Manage Walkin customers, telephone and email enquiries
  • Provide current pricing and ensure maximized profit margins are achieved
  • Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by the reporting manager.


Qualifications: 

  • Highschool Diploma or GED
  • Relevant experience, preferably in the life safety industry
  • Strong knowledge of PC-based applications (Microsoft Office Suite etc.)
  • Proven customer relationship-building skills
