Leadership Development Coordinator - Intern

Part-Time, 20–25 hours/week

The Temporary Leadership Development Coordinator is a key support member of the Leadership Development Team and plays an important role in APi Group’s efforts to Build Great Leaders. This opportunity is supporting the APi Group organization as it establishes and implements the strategy around business platforms, including but not limited to the Field Service Management (FSM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Human Capital Management (HCM), and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools. The intent is to transition operating companies and branches onto platforms in a strategic manner that optimizes and expedites value capture as well as minimizes disruption to the business. This program will also encompass legal entity rationalization and shared services establishment discussions as necessary to facilitate the system and platform moves. The scope of the program includes both business transformation and technology across the company in several phases over the next 2-3 years.


This temporary position offers exposure to the Learning & Development (L&D) field and is ideal for someone interested in gaining experience as an L&D professional. While the focus will be on core administrative and course support tasks, the incumbent may have the opportunity to assist with other L&D projects as time and need allow, such as:

  • Process improvement support for the team.
  • Participating in team discussions on employee engagement and learning strategies.
  • Assisting with technical or creative aspects of learning resources.


Position Details

  • Temporary, part-time role (20–25 hours per week).
  • Assignment expected to begin mid-September 2025 and conclude mid–end March 2026.


Responsibilities

  • Support the effective delivery of in-person leadership courses, including:
  • Preparing course materials and basic support tools (e.g., presentations, workbooks, copies).
  • Setting up the training room prior to each course (room organization, testing AV with facilitator(s), etc.).
  • Managing onsite logistics for leadership courses: making coffee, restocking snacks/beverages, greeting course participants, and cleaning up after sessions.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Leadership Development Team, including:
  • Ordering and maintaining necessary department and conference room office supplies.
  • Sending out mail and packages as requested (FedEx/UPS/USPS).
  • Completing other administrative tasks accurately and promptly as requested.

Benefits and Compensation

  • Pay range: $18–$22/hr, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
  • Eligible to participate in the APi High Deductible Medical Plan (coverage effective on the first of the month following 59 days of employment, if elected).
