Global Travel Manager
Job Summary
This position will play a crucial role in optimizing our travel programs while ensuring alignment with business objectives. Your expertise in business acumen, strategic thinking, and change management will drive the adoption of innovative travel solutions across the organization. You will be responsible for managing Business Travel ongoing operations and strategy while fostering relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to deliver a seamless end-to-end travel experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Business Travel program with our Travel Management Company and third-party vendors, ensuring adherence to SLAs and contract utilization
- Utilize data insights to report on travel performance and identify opportunities for improvement, balancing flexibility and experience.
- Respond to inquiries and educate team members on business travel policy and best practices.
- Administer the Concur Travel site to enable options to efficiently support team members
- Maintain a travel policy and online booking tool that balance corporate needs with team member experience.
- Communicate updates and changes to the company in a timely and effective manner
- Establish solid relationships with travel vendors and schedule quarterly reviews to accurately measure usage/expense while developing a corporate savings program beneficial to both parties
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and team members to build trust and encourage collaboration, acting as a liaison between stakeholders and the procurement team during transformation initiatives
- Facilitate onboarding of new acquisitions to company travel vendors, policies, and the booking tool
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Five plus (5+) years of experience leading global travel programs
- Three plus (3+) years of knowledge with Concur Travel administration preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent studies in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field or equivalent business experience
- Superior communication and customer service skills, both written and verbal, with a highly customer-focused approach to internal processes
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and needs, showcasing flexibility and resilience
- High attention to detail combined with strong organizational and project management skills, fostering effective teamwork
- Strong negotiation skills for travel-related partnerships (air, hotel, and car programs)
- Self-starter capable of translating complex business requirements into effective program solutions
- Strong analytical skills and experience in analyzing travel spend and cost savings
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with varying levels throughout the company
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Role reports to: Global Platform Director
This role will be based out of our New Brighton office or remotely. The pay range is $88,300 - $132,300, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well-being of you and your family.
