Job Title: Change and Project Management Lead


Job Summary


We are building an AI and Innovation practice that will enable our organization to stay at the forefront of technology and transformation. As part of this journey, we are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Change and Project Management Leader. Reporting to the Vice President of AI and Innovation, this individual will play a key part in building the foundation of our practice by driving communications, adoption strategies, stakeholder alignment, managing projects, and training initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong ability to connect with others, manage diverse responsibilities, and adapt in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment.


Responsibilities

Communications Management

  • Develop communication plans to convey the value of AI initiatives and articulate their impact to internal and external audiences.
  • Create clear and engaging messaging that resonates with diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Ensure consistent communication during project lifecycles, fostering transparency and trust around AI adoption.
  • Create engaging internal and external content (presentations, newsletters, FAQs, etc.) to highlight the impact and progress of AI and innovation initiatives.

Driving and Measuring Adoption

  • Design and lead efforts to accelerate AI adoption by creating a clear roadmap and addressing key challenges.
  • Develop and track metrics to measure the success of AI adoption efforts and generate insights for continuous improvement.
  • Design and implement feedback mechanisms to understand resistance and barriers to adoption and address these effectively.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Actively collaborate with internal business leaders, technical teams, and cross-functional teams to align priorities.
  • Build stakeholder confidence in the AI transformation process through targeted engagement strategies.
  • Identify and address barriers or resistance to change at all levels.

Training and Enablement

  • Assess training needs for AI and innovation-related transformations and design appropriate learning interventions.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and deliver engaging training content, workshops, and resources.
  • Oversee the delivery and effectiveness of training programs, refining approaches based on participant feedback.

Project Management

  • Oversee and manage small-scale projects within the AI and Innovation practice, ensuring they are executed on time and within scope.
  • Create project plans, set milestones, and track progress using standard project management tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage resources, risks, and dependencies for successful project delivery.
  • Provide consistent project updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.

Flexibility and Versatility

  • Operate effectively in a dynamic environment, balancing multiple responsibilities with agility.
  • Serve as the go-to person for change management, communications, and adoption challenges within the AI practice.
  • Proactively recognize and address practice needs that go beyond the immediate scope of the role.


Qualifications

List minimum requirements for education, experience, and proficiencies

  • Bachelors Degree in a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in change management, organizational development, or related roles.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement change management strategies in a dynamic and evolving environment.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to craft clear, compelling messages for a diverse audience.
  • Ability to measure adoption progress, analyze data, and derive actionable strategies.
  • Experience designing and executing training or enablement programs.
  • Proven track record of stakeholder management and influencing without formal authority.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to manage small projects and prioritize competing responsibilities effectively.
  • A self-starter mindset with a willingness to wear multiple hats and take on varied responsibilities in a start-up-like environment.
  • Highly collaborative problem-solver with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Growth mindset with a passion for technology and innovation.
  • Organizational savvy, able to balance priorities and work across functions.
  • Comfortable taking initiative and being resourceful in ambiguous situations.
  • Certifications such as Prosci, ADKAR, or similar change management frameworks are a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana, Jira) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) are a plus.
  • Ability to travel 10-15% of the time.

Role reports to Vice President of AI and Innovation


Benefits and Compensation: 

This role will be based out of our New Brighton office. The pay range is $66,000 - $99,000, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well-being of you and your family.
