Job Title:            Site Project Manager – Fire Protection Systems (Semiconductor & High-Tech Facilities)

Job Description

On-Site Project Manager

3S Incorporated is a leader in designing, installing, and service industrial fire alarm and fire suppression systems across North America. 3S Incorporated provides fire protection solutions to the high-tech, automotive, steel, power generation, petrochemical, and energy industries.

3S Incorporated is looking for On-Site Project Manager to join our team. The Site Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing on-site project activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget. This role serves as the primary point of contact on-site, managing subcontractors, vendors, schedules, and quality while ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.


Job Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution

  • Manage day-to-day on-site installation of fire protection systems, including special hazard & building fire alarm.
  • Coordinate work sequencing with general contractors, tool install teams, and other trades in active high-tech facilities
  • Develop and maintain site schedules, manpower plans, and material delivery timelines
  • Identify and mitigate project risks related to access restrictions, shutdowns, and tool move-ins

Quality Assurance & Commissioning

  • Ensure installations meet contract documents, NFPA standards, FM Global requirements, and client specifications
  • Coordinate inspections, testing, and system commissioning
  • Address punch list items and ensure timely closeout

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific safety requirements
  • Ensure compliance with cleanroom and contamination control protocols
  • Conduct job hazard analyses (JHAs), toolbox talks, and safety audits

Communication & Client Coordination

  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, inspectors, AHJs, and general contractors
  • Participate in coordination meetings, look-ahead planning, and progress reviews
  • Provide accurate daily reports, schedules, and status updates to project leadership

Team Leadership

  • Lead and supervise installation crews
  • Coordinate subcontractors and specialty vendors
  • Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement on-site

Preferred Qualifications – Not Required

  • NICET certification (Level I–IV) in Fire Protection or related discipline
  • OSHA 30-Hour certification
  • Familiarity with NFPA, FM Global, and local AHJ requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in construction project management or site supervision
  • Demonstrated experience with fire protection systems (suppression, life safety)

  • Strong leadership in high-pressure, schedule-driven environments
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong documentation and reporting skills

Work Environment

  • May require night shifts, weekends, or shutdown work
  • Use of PPE and adherence to strict safety and cleanroom protocols required
  • Travel will be required to effectively perform this role
