Requirements:

  • Sales experience in fire and life safety industry, building services, facility maintenance, and/or heavy industrial/manufacturing is not required but heavily preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ready to present and respond to questions from managers, customers, AHJs, and public
  • Business development or marketing experience is a plus
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) proficiency
  • Valid driver’s license per company policy
  • Willingness to travel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support 3S-Incorporated’s annual growth targets for inspection business
  • Identify and connect with potential buyers by scheduling sales calls, rapidly following up on leads, and assisting in marketing activities
  • Conduct site surveys to determine customer needs and review findings with clients
  • Prepare and present customized proposals addressing client life safety requirements
  • Contribute to pricing and support account strategies for inspection contracts
  • Develop and maintain a robust proposal and sales pipeline aligned with business goals
  • Build long-lasting, trust-based customer relationships
  • Report sales plans, attend team calls, and monitor territory market dynamics
  • Lead customer presentations, “lunch & learns,” and other relationship-building events
  • Continuously improve knowledge of pricing, contracts, and emerging industry technologies
  • Collaborate closely with corporate sales leadership and support companywide initiatives
  • Ensure all work aligns with 3S-Incorporated’s core operating principles

Success Metrics:

  • Achieve/exceed individual new inspection sales targets, proposals, and customer engagement goals
  • Relentlessly pursue emerging industry knowledge and regulatory updates
  • Complete at least one on-site visit with existing customers per week
  • Engage with customers on outstanding receivables
  • Participate in at least one local trade organization
  • Facilitate relationship-building activities monthly, demonstrating ROI
  • Attend ongoing Learning and Development programs
  • Maintain accurate records of customer activities, proposals, and wins in CRM system

This role will be based out of our Greenville, SC branch. This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well-being of you and your family. Some benefits include:
