Role Summary:
Chubb Fire and Security is looking for Security Solutions Sales Representative to join the team. This role will be responsible for acquiring and maintaining new accounts within a specified territory. The self-motivated, business-to-business sales professional will have strong sales skills and technical aptitude with the ability to work towards achieving sales objectives and promote Chubb’s solutions with a focus on growing the business.
Job Responsibilities:
- Quote systems for customers with technical accuracy within Chubb pricing guidelines.
- Stay current in knowledge of security product features (including competitor technology), legislation, and regulations.
- Travels to and visits client locations, completes surveys, determines customer objectives/requirements/ vulnerabilities, and advises on designing a system through security consultation that will best meet the needs of the customer and particular site.
- Obtain sales by developing new accounts, following up on company-generated leads, and servicing the existing customer base. Security is built on trust. Long-term success depends on maintaining relationships post-sale to ensure system satisfaction.
- Prepare quotes for new prospective and existing customers.
- Maintain client rapport by understanding current and future needs and responding promptly.
Job Requirements:
- 3 + years of proven sales experience in Security Systems environment or proven experience as a technician in the Security Systems environment with an aptitude for sales (to be evaluated through the recruiting process)
- 2 years of applied technical knowledge of security products (security alarm, access control, CCTV surveillance, or TCP/IP and network concepts for digital security) is necessary.
- Applied experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred, but could be others) is needed
- Ability to work with minimal supervision/self-motivated and has a desire to work on a winning team
- Strong interpersonal skills and effectiveness at building relationships - with strong client service orientation
- Adaptable to changing environments
- Highly organized and able to work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to convey a message in an organized, clear, and effective manner
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record
More about the position:
- Sales experience in B2B services environment with strong prospecting skills highly preferred
- Proactiveness to seek opportunities and generate ideas for improvements is a nice to have.
