Fire Sprinkler Fitter Position

As a Fire Sprinkler Fitter you play a critical role in installing, repairing, and maintaining fire sprinkler systems in diverse types of buildings, ensuring they meet all safety codes and standards. You will work alongside a skilled team, utilizing your expertise to assess blueprints, select appropriate materials, and provide high-quality craftsmanship to protect lives and property from fire damage.

This position has a salary range of $20-$25 per hour depending on experience

Job Responsibilities

• Layout pipe
• Preparation of pipe and fittings to include cutting, threading, grooving, and doping (glue/cement).
• Set up equipment, loading and unloading of material, tools, ladders etc.
• Clean up to include sweeping, trash collection and disposal, and keeping work area free of debris at all times.
• Assisting foreman and sprinkler fitters with day to day tasks.
• Adhere to OSHA safety regulations at all times
• Other duties as assigned.
• Travel to work on various locations/job sites as necessary.

Job Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of construction or mechanical experience, preferred
• Fire Sprinkler experience not required
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; in accordance with Company policy.
• Willing and able to lift up to at least 50 pounds.
• Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools
• Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Must pass a post-offer drug test and background check, if applicable.
• Reliable transportation.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain base access (REAL ID required)
