Role Summary:
SMC Monitoring Corporation is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand the dealer channel and engage with both commercial and residential clients in the Eastern Canada and Ottawa region.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Create and execute strategies to drive growth in the dealer channel and direct client segments.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with dealers, commercial clients, and residential customers.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the other region BDMs to support their efforts in achieving targets and expanding market presence.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of business development initiatives, adjusting strategies as necessary.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company's services and generate leads.
- Provide guidance and support to dealers regarding product offerings and sales techniques.
- Work closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, and customer service) to ensure alignment in strategy and execution.
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Business Administration
- Previous security industry experience is considered an asset
- Previous dealer program management experience is considered an asset
- Computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word etc.)
