We're looking for a driven, relationship-focused Business Development Manager to grow our dealer channel and connect with commercial and residential clients in the Ontario Region

What You’ll Do
- Drive new business across your region – with dealers and direct clients (commercial & residential).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, subcontractors.
- Proactively identify new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Collaborate with national and regional BDMs to share insights and strategy.
- Represent SMC at major events, trade shows, and industry networking opportunities.
- Provide product and service guidance to dealers, helping them close more deals.
- Align closely with internal teams – from marketing to operations – to deliver a seamless customer experience.
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or GED
- A strong understanding of the security, fire, Video Monitoring, and monitoring industry is a major asset.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or dealer management – ideally selling services and technical solutions.
- A self-starter with a positive attitude and hunger to win.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own schedule.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Solid computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
